Waterlogged pitch at BTS forces shiftTonight's game will be played on the turf at Ivor Wynne Stadium.
Frank Perin — Despite the rain, FC Hamilton Croatia will play their final regular season game tonight. The club has received confirmation from the City of Hamilton that the match against Milltown FC will be moved to Ivor Wynne Stadium.
Kickoff remains at 9 p.m.
With the rain falling in Hamilton for about the past 36 hours, the pitch at Brian Timmis Stadium is waterlogged and has been deemed unplayable, so the game has been shifted to the neighbouring turf field at the home of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
This is the final game of the season for both of the CSL expansion teams. It was originally supposed to be played on August 15th but was postponed due to rain that day.
With the playoffs just a week away, the league is determined to finish off all remaining games.
With only two points seperating them, Hamilton needs a win to secure third spot in the regular season standings, while Milltown can still hope to finish first overall with a win.
Both teams have already clinched a playoff berth.
