Sixth Annual HCHD presented by Harvey’sHamilton Croatia Hockey Day VI.
Frank Perin — On Sunday, February 15th Hamilton Croatia hosted Hockey Day VI. The annual ball hockey tournament was once again held at the Outdoor Ball Hockey Arena at Fifty Point Conservation in Winona.
The Draft, which has become as big a part of the weekend as the actual tournament, took place following the CISL games on Friday in the main hall at our winter stag party at the Croatian Sports and Community Centre of Hamilton.
The MVP’s of the day once again re-united, and kept the BBQ’s going all day to feed and heat us. Special thanks to Tommy Saic, Stipa Adzijevich, Joe Protulipac, and Mika Vrbanaca.
The spicy chili and kuhano vino were both a key ingredient in the players’ warmth!

Team names, colour(s), rosters and final results are listed below. 60 players in total were drafted to six “wrestling” teams, making HCHD-VI the “Survivor Series”.
Lastly, 2015 marked the first time coaches were picked were also drawn. Coaches were mainly injured players that still wished to be a part of a team, but should they have had the gumption to lace ’em up on Sunday, well that was up to the team doctors!
