Frank Perin — Hamilton Croatia hosted the third annual Hockey Day on Sunday, February 19 — Family Day weekend — and for the second year in a row over 60 players participated.
Games were played at the Outdoor Ball Hockey Arena at Fifty Point Conservation in a round-robin format followed by playoffs.
The day was sponsored by Harvey’s, and the food was amazing! As usual, credit goes to Tom Saic and his gang of chefs which included Stipa Adzijevich, Mike Jurincic, and Ivica Katkic.
The fun began Friday with the annual draft, where six goalies and 64 players were randomly selected to create six teams.
