How to stay engaged with us over the winter months
Its no surprise that the summer is a very busy time for our organization. However, we are motivated by the momentum from such a historic summer and are therefore continuing strong with events and family-friendly activities through the cold winter months.
ICE RINK As pictured above, we have installed a new Ice Rink on our park grounds that will allow the children of our community a safe an enjoyable place to skate with friends and family. Rink hours for various skill levels are as follows:
Beginners: Learn to Skate
A time for the earliest beginners to learn how to skate in a safe and calm environment. Watch them take their first strides and fall in love with skating and Canada’s favourite sport (helmet & parental supervision required)
Hours: Thursday/Friday/Saturday 4:30PM to 7PM & Sunday 12PM to 7PMKid-Friendly Hockey
An opportunity for a fun game of hockey for the youth of our community. Basic hockey equipment with helmet required.
Hours:Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7PM to 8:30PMAll Ages: Friendly Hockey
For everyone else, come out and enjoy a fun game of hockey under the lights of our new community centre and stay for the restaurant fare which is sure to sooth those sore muscles many of the “more experienced” players will suffer from afterwards.
Hours: Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 8:30PM to close
DON’T MISS Äuka ÄŒaić who will be performing this Saturday, January 10, 2015 accompanied by Druga Noć. This is our first ever concert at our Croatian Centre in Hamilton, you don’t want to miss this.
