We will be reaching out to all of our donors to inquire if they are in a position to “top up” their initial donation towards our new community centre before the donor wall is finalized.

We have been receiving a great deal of positive feedback from our members who have been visiting and utilizing the services and activities of the centre often enough that they feel a top up to their donation is something they are willing to do. People often ask us, “how can I get involved in helping the centre?” Well, its time to get the park opened up for the summer and this is a perfect opportunity…
This year, more than any other, we have a lot to do to get us up and running for the summer, so we will need all hands on deck. If you can make it out on Saturday, May 2nd for a full day, half day, a couple of hours, please do!
The harsh winter has made GMR a bit messy, so we have a decent amount of clean-up and prep that needs to be done around the building and also on the fields and bocce courts.
Please try your best to find some time to stop by to help out. We will get things started at 8:00 a.m.

BOCCE REGISTRATION
(MEN & WOMEN): THURSDAY, MAY 7, 2015
Registration for this summer’s Croatia Hamilton Bocce Leagues for men and women will be held at The Croatia Restaurant & Bar on Thursday, May 7th from 6:30-8 p.m.
As is the case every year, space is limited — the first 36 men’s teams and 32 women’s teams will be accepted. Both leagues have been at capacity every year since they started, and they will fill up again! Do not delay — register your teams!
The men’s league runs Monday and Thursday nights, and will be maxing out at 18 teams per night. Women play on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s, with 16 teams per night.
Men will begin play a week early this year, on Monday, May 25th. This is the Monday BEFORE the Big Picnic.
The Women’s league normally begins on the Tuesday following the Big Picnic. Their schedule is still to be determined.

House league soccer will again be led by Morris Parras this summer and played on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Croatian Sports & Community Centre on Green Mountain Road.
