In 1999, Club member Boro Boros arranged the first ever Croatia Hamilton Golf Classic. The annual scramble format tournament has been held at top-notch golf facilities over the years and has averaged a field of at least 70 golfers a year.
In a scramble, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The best of the second shots is determined, then all play their third shots from that spot, and so on until the ball is holed.
The tournament includes a full day of golf, a catered dinner, and prizes for all participants including closest to the pin and longest drive rewards.
